Ride.Eat.Find recommended a barefoot restaurant where customers are invited to take off their shoes, sits on the floor to enjoy the restaurant's Indian cuisine. Those who are unable to sit on the floor without shoes on, can eat at ground floor with usual sitting arrangements with tables & chairs. We went there for the chilli challenge at spice level 6.


Koli Curry Leaf (300 Calories) $17+ Spice level 6 indicated by 6 leaves. Cannot get anywhere else except Lagnaa.


Koli Curry Leaf at level 6 was actually curry chicken. Chicken was very tender and curry was delicious and spicy.


Banana Lassi $8+: Banana yoghurt-based drink that cannot get anywhere else except Lagnaa

Mint Lassi $8+: Mint yoghurt-based drink that cannot get anywhere except Lagnaa
Yoghurt Rice in bamboo container

Yoghurt Rice (200 Calories ) $7+


The spiciness was manageable to us, maybe we had Lassi (yoghurt drinks) and yoghurt rice to help us.


Threadfin Fish Curry (215 calories ) $19+ Spice level 3 indicated by 3 leaves. πŸ‘Chef says must try.


Their Threadfin Fish curry was also favourable and yummy but the prices were pretty costly. Otherwise it could have a higher rating. Deliciously costly. πŸ˜ƒ

Fatt Choy Mui Seafood Restaurant

Finally, a Zi Char stall recommended by Ride.Eat.Find programme brought to us by Health Promotion Board (HPB). Furthermore it was recommended by Celebrity Chef Melvyn Lee. So it has to be healthier and delicious because it was recommended by both HPB and celebrity chef.

Anyway, we ordered the signature Marmite Pork Ribs, Deep fried Crispy Tofu and Stir- fried broccoli.
Marmite Pork Rib $12
The Marmite Pork Ribs were amazing. Nicely charred and well marinated with Marmite. It was slightly too salty to my family, partly because Marmite itself was already salty. It was quite enjoyable having it with rice.


Crispy Tofu $11
The deep fried Crispy Tofu had crispy skin, soft wobbly bean curd inside, topped up with deep fried pickled radish.

Stir-Fried Broccoli $9
The stir-fried broccoli although looked green & raw, but it was very tasty and crunchy.

Food here were good and reasonably priced. Be prepared to queue during weekend. Better call Cynthia to make a reservation to avoid disappointment. I was told that the stall closes on the first Tuesday of every month. Opening hours daily 4 pm to 11 pm. Anyway better call to check before going. Will be back to try other dishes.
